Jobs In Australia For Indians - 2024 (4)

Skilled Migration Pathways in Australia:

  • Subclass 189

Subclass 189 or the Skilled Independent Visa is a Permanent Residency visa that lets you settle in Australia without a job offer or state sponsorship.

The main requirement for this visa is a positive skill assessment report and good English proficiency. Since the eligibility criteria for this visa type is minimal, it is a popular choice amongst foreign-nationals.

  • Subclass 190

Subclass 190 or the Skilled Nominated Visa is also a Permanent Residency Visa that lets you settle and work in Australia indefinitely. However, as the name suggests, this visa requires the applicant to have a state nomination to be eligible to apply for the visa.

  • Subclass 482

This visa lets employers address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers from across the globe to fill the appropriate vacancies in Australia’s job economy. With the Subclass 482 or the Temporary Skill Shortage visa, you can stay in Australia for a maximum of 4 years.
